Choose this if you have no image or you just have an image of your product. You can choose to upload your image, specify a url for an image, or choose from our gallery of images. Later in the page, you will be asked to input the description of your offer and the background color of your offer and we will create the final image for you.
Use my image
Select this if you have an image that completely describes the offer. Your image should include a picture of the offer and all the text that describes it. You can choose to upload your image or specify a url for an image. Later in the page, You will then be asked to enter the MOBILE DESCRIPTION of your offer. This will be used for texting and for some mobile devices which don't have the capability to view your image.
Offer Description
This field is only present if you selected "Help me create my offer". Please enter the full description of your offer.
Text Message
This will be the text message that gets sent to the consumer. Also, when consumers use the mobile Keepity app, they have the option to turn off images and just see text. This is the text they will see. This field is limited in size so that it fits in a 160 character text message. Since the text message also includes the Offer Name and some additional opt-out text that we add, you will find that you have much less than 160 character limit.
Preview Offer

Change Colors
This button is only present if you selected "Help me create my offer". Select it to change the background color of your image.
Attach Offer To
This drop down lets you target your offer. It determines which consumers see your offer on the Keepity website and which of the consumers who have OPTed IN to your business will be notified of your new offer. If the offer is an Online offer, you want all consumers , regardless of their geography, to see it. So you would select the Attach to Online option from the drop-down menu. The offer will be marked as an "Online" offer and anyone who uses the Keepity website or the Keepity mobile app will see it on the HOME page. Plus, any consumer who has OPTed IN to your business will be notified via email or text.
If the offer is an In-store offer, you want to target consumers who are near your store locations. Keepity gives you the option to attach the offer to a single store, a grouping of stores , or to all stores. To use this option, you need to first identitfy your store locations using the Locations tab. After you identify your store locations, you can further group your stores together using any criteria you like. To do that, use the Locations tab and select Group Locations. That allows you to attach your offer to a single store, to all stores or to a specific grouping of stores. For example, you can direct an offer only to stores in the northeast and direct a different offer to your stores in the south. If you only have a single store, thats ok. Just use the Locations tab to enter it, then , any consumer in your area will see your offer. Keepity defaults to showing your In-store offer any consumer who is within a 100 mile radius of any of your store locations.
Please note that the "Attach Offer To" controls who sees the offer on the Keepity website and also which consumers who have OPTed IN to your business , get notified of your offer. If a consumer has Kept one of your previous offers, they have OPTed IN to your business. If that consumer lives in Texas and you create a new offer and "Attach Offer To" your store in New York, then that consumer will NOT be notified of the new offer. If however, you "Attach Offer To" all of your stores, then that consumer in Texas will be notified of the new offer , via text and email
The "Attach Offer To" does NOT affect who sees your offer on your social networks. For example, if you create an offer and you just want it to be viewed by consumers near your New York store, then you should "Attach Offer To" your New York store. However, if you then select the option to display the offer on your Facebook or Twitter page, you must realize that people outside the New York area will see the offer, because Facebook and Twitter have no knowledge of geography. Therefore,if you choose to display your offer on your Facebook or Twitter page, your should do it for an offer that is valid for all of your stores or is an online offer.
The same is true if you select the option to send the offer to your STARTER EMAIL LIST. You are able to segment your STARTER EMAIL LIST into different geographies if you like,so make sure , if you have an offer that is for a specific store or region, that you check the correct Starter Email list that you want to send it to.
Shop Url
When your offer is viewed, if the user clicks on your offer image, they will be taken to this url. If you have "attached" this offer to Online, you should specify this url to take the user to your online store so they can immediately purchase the online offer. If you are creating an IN-STORE offer (attached the offer to one of your locations or groups of locations), then this url should take the consumer wherever you like on your website.
Default or Custom
This dropdown determines the upc code of the offer. It depends on whether you specified this as an online or in-store offer in the dropdown "Attach this offer to".
If you have specified an Online offer:
Specify the code for this online offer below
This is the online code the consumer needs to use to purchase the product. It will show up clearly next to the offer so they can use it when they shop online. Of course, you can also include it in your image if you like.
No redemption code necessary, this is just a message
When this option is selected, no code is shown to the consumer. They are told that this is just an informative message. This can be used if you are informing them of an online special that needs no code,or inviting them to an event or to use your loyalty card , etc.
If you have specified an In-store offer:
No redemption code necessary, this is just a message
When this option is selected, no upc code is shown to the consumer. They are told that this is just an informative message. This can be used if you are sending an invite or describing an event for one or many of your locations
Use default redemption codes
When you select the default redemption codes, we assign a unique numeric code to every kept offer. We refer to these as DYNAMIC codes because there is a different code for every consumer. When the consumer redeems the offer, they will either bring in a printed copy that has the numeric code on it, or they will show the clerk their mobile phone which has the numeric code displayed. To see the range of numeric codes that were assigned to your offer, go to the Offer Manager, it will be displayed in the Code column.
I am an advanced user. I want to specify my own redemption codes
If you already have POS software that creates the UPC codes for you, you may want to use them in your offer. Also, you may not want to use our default redemption codes because they assign a unique code to each consumer- we call that DYNAMIC codes. You may want to use a single code for the offer- we call that a STATIC code. In either case you would select this option, which gives you more flexibility when assigning codes to your In-store offer.
This offer has a static redemption code
A "Static" Redemption Code means that every consumer will get the same code on the Offer. This is useful if the business doesn't want to keep track of individual redemption codes and doesn't care that each consumer has the same redemption code.

This is the starting date that you want your offer to be redeemable by the the consumer. Note, you can set this date in the future and it will still be shown to the consumer immediately. Select Starter Email List
You have created one or more Starter Email Lists. You may select one or all of them to send this offer to. As soon as you PUBLISH the offer, it will be sent to the customers on the Starter Email list that you selected.
Publish
Only after you PUBLISH the offer will it be sent to consumers via text and email and also made visible on our Keepity site. This allows you time to verify that the offer looks exactly as you like. When you select the Publish button a new field will appear, (Offer will be announced immediately title), which will allow you to specify the publish end date.
Offer will be announced immediately...
This is publish end date. When you publish your offer it will IMMEDIATELY be visible on the Keepity website and it will be emailed, texted to any consumer who is connected to you. In this field, you need to specify the last date that the offer will be visible on the Keepity website. However, don't confuse this with the Redeem Start Date. You may want to 'publish' this offer for only 1 month, but have the offer 'redeemable' for 1 year. That way the user can KEEP it during the brief publish period, but use it for up to 1 year. The period of time that an offer is published on the Keepity website, thus giving the the consumer the ability to KEEP it, is different that the period of time the the offer can be redeemed..
